The Symmetrical U-Cup provides excellent sealing performance and very long operating life in both rod and piston applications. Made from Disogrin 9250, it has superior sealing performance and longer operating life, and is great for those tough applications with high pressures or temperatures where other seals fail.

+LSU DISOGRIN Symmetrical Loaded U-Cup

LSU series with O-Ring energized lips assure a uniform, positive lip contact plus excellent low pressure sealing. Seal depth is equal to radial width. LSU series are used to interchange an existing hydraulic packing and/or O-Rings.

LSU-B series back beveled sealing lip provides greater film breaking and increased until loading at the sealing surface. Seal depth is generally 1.5 times the cross section of radial width to insure seal stability in most rugged applications. ROD SEAL use is preferred.

LSU-D’s series depth is 1.5 times greater than radial width. Increased seal stability to withstand rugged, high shock, heavy duty applications. DEEP LSU can replace vee packing or other old fashioned seals. For minimum drag use STANDARD LSU or DEEP LSU Series.
