Taking Ownership of Our Community

As employee-owners we are not only committed to the success of our Company, but also the communities where we live. The ESP International Charitable Foundation (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) was founded because the list of problems facing our world isn’t getting any shorter, but we practice on the principle that every little bit helps.
This is why, each year, ESP employees vote for the charity they would like to see the Foundation sponsor. Throughout the year we host fundraisers and donate a majority of the proceeds to that charity; the remaining funds are used to support other local non-profits.
The 2019 Foundation of the Year!
The Freedom Foundation was formed by a group of local military veterans who saw the need for a “Veterans Helping Veterans” approach to navigating the challenges of everyday life after serving our country. The organization has now expanded to veterans and civilians working together to make a difference in the lives of those who have served.
The Freedom Foundation is a grassroots 501(c)3 Non-Profit Veterans Service and Support Organization – located at 609 Center Point Road NE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402.
The Freedom Foundation provides numerous programs and services to Veterans. These programs and services includes a Food Pantry, administration of a Employment Placement Program entitled “Ready To Serve”, the operation of the “Veterans Temporary Housing/Shelter Program” for our homeless and displaced Veterans, a Veterans Emergency Financial Assistance Fund and our hosting of a free weekly Thursday luncheon, serving Veterans a well deserved “home-cooked meal”.
“The March of Dimes was honored to be the 2014 ESP Charitable Foundation of the year. It was a great pleasure working with the Foundation board and the ESP employees throughout their campaign to raise awareness of our mission and necessary funds. ESP International is a true community leader.”

“Camp Courageous had the good fortune to be chosen by the employees of ESP International to be their primary charity for a year. ESP had supported camp before and after this special year. It was exceptional financial support, but it was so much more than that. It was volunteering at camp and camp events, providing the camp needed supplies, and a very heartwarming part of their support was when they took a camper’s family, that was really struggling, under their wings to provide food, toys, and so much more to make their Christmas Holiday the ‘best ever’. I, along with the Camp Courageous Board and staff were very impressed with the dedication and passion ESP staff had to help others…it was incredible. I was also impressed with their dedication and how proud they were to work for ESP. What a wonderful company to be a part of…both in their pride to produce exceptional products…and also their desire to give back.”
