Application

An OEM Customer currently had a weldment roll cage mount on a recreational vehicle

Problem

Customer was having manpower issues with internal welding. Engineering resources were also exhausted on other projects.

ESP Proposal

Convert the weldment to a cost effective casting while maintaining part integrity. ESP Engineering worked on the new design which freed up Customer’s internal resources.

Solution

• ESP Engineering proposed a cast design combining the three weldments into one
• FEA Analysis was done to identify areas of stress and assure new design had same strength
