Part Production Approval Process

• PPAP is based on specified quantities of production parts or production materials taken from a significant production run made with production tooling, processes, and cycle times.
• According to Industry Standards there are five levels of PPAP.
• ESP defines Levels 1-2 with risk level D parts.
• Most common level of PPAP is Level 1 or 3.
• ESP defines Level 3-5 with risk level E parts.
